- 5 / 5By Andy SimsWe used Robin for our wedding and we searched near and far for the best cakes possible. We even paid a "tasting fee" at a local Aptos bakery, $30 for three tiny samples of cake. Then we met Robin and there were no more appointments made. We had a special "Banana Cake" request and all the other fancy bakeries in Los Gatos, Santa Cruz and Carmel could not match the way she made a normally dense banana cake into an amazing moist and soft cake. She also pitched her chocolate chocolate chip cake to us and we decided to have both as they were simply the best cakes we've ever tasted. I'm so sorry it has taken this long to tell the world about the cakes, but we still have friends and family remind us how much they loved the cake. Some have admitted that they had 3-4 pieces... I truly believe that may be the most memorable part of our beautiful wedding in Carmel Valley. Oh and by the way, Robin's prices were far below the fancy "no heart and soul" cakes we tried. Simply put, Robin is the best. Don't waste your time anywhere else, unless you just want to spend more money for a worst product.July 27, 2016
